Funwheel X7 Complete Board Start Guide

Hey! If you are here, you probably received, or waiting to receive your complete Funwheel Board. Firstly, thank you for being awesome and supporting us. 

 

The Complete Funwheel has been carefully assembled and QC-ed, and tested to the latest safety and operational standards. It should be ready to ride!

Please take the Funwheel out of its packaging, along with the charger, and charge it to at least 50% voltage. 

Once charged, you can balance the board (put it flat), and test it with your hands (pressing the 2 sides of the front footpad should make it balance). 

Now, you can ride it in an indoor/ safe location (don.t forget your helmet!). Once confident, you can take it outside and shred! Happy riding.

You would need a companion app to see data on your phone/ watch, like battery percentage, speed, distance, or change settings and ride behavior. Also to sometimes troubleshoot and fix issues and quirks. Please use one (or all) of the following apps:

1. Floaty: Great UI; perfect for monitoring speed, battery, recording rides, tuning ride feel, etc. Available on Android and IOS. Created by Siwoz

2. Float Control: Great UI; perfect for monitoring speed, battery, recording rides, tuning ride feel, etc. Available only on iOS. Created by Surfdado. 

3. VESC Tool: Official App for all VESC based controllers. Must use for firmware updates and initial or advanced configuration. Not recommended for beginners as its easy to change critical settings and create unsafe conditions for board and user. If you are new, get help from the community on the Funwheel Discord.
