Fungineers LLC ("Fungineers," "we," "us," or "our") provides this Warranty & Repair Policy to clearly communicate the nature of our products and the responsibilities of our customers. By purchasing any product from https://fungineers.us/, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. DIY Nature of Products
All products sold by Fungineers LLC — including but not limited to VESC-based motor controllers, motors, battery management systems, conversion kits, and associated components — are designed for use in DIY (do-it-yourself) electric vehicle builds and modifications. By purchasing from Fungineers LLC, you acknowledge that:

  • You understand the technical nature of the products you are purchasing.
  • Installation, configuration, tuning, and ongoing maintenance of all components are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Fungineers LLC does not provide installation services unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

2. No Repair Service Obligation
Fungineers LLC does not operate a general repair facility and is under no obligation to perform repairs on any product sold through this Site. All troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, or replacement of components is the responsibility of the customer to facilitate.

Fungineers LLC will make reasonable efforts to assist customers through:

  • Written troubleshooting documentation available on our Site
  • Email support at support@fungineers.us
  • Discord community support via @fungineerssupport
  • Community support resources where applicable

Such assistance does not constitute a warranty of repair, a commitment to resolve any issue, or an assumption of liability for outcomes resulting from customer-performed repairs.

3. Limited Warranty Coverage
Fungineers LLC warrants that products sold through this Site will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment. Warranty periods vary by product and are specified on each individual product listing at https://fungineers.us/. Customers are responsible for reviewing the warranty terms applicable to their specific product prior to purchase.

This limited warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period by contacting support@fungineers.us or reaching our support team on Discord at @fungineerssupport, with your order reference number, a description of the defect, and supporting photos or video documentation.
  • Fungineers LLC reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a reported issue constitutes a manufacturing defect.

Upon confirmation of a valid warranty claim, Fungineers LLC may, at its discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement of the defective component
  • Store credit toward a future purchase
  • Partial or full refund in accordance with our Refund Policy

4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover and Fungineers LLC assumes no liability for:

  • Damage resulting from improper installation, wiring errors, or failure to follow provided documentation
  • Damage caused by moisture, water ingress, or use in conditions beyond the product's stated specifications
  • Damage resulting from the use of incompatible hardware, third-party components, or non-recommended fasteners or connectors
  • Products that have been modified, disassembled, or repaired by the customer or any third party
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuits, or improper battery configurations
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality
  • Any issue arising from customer configuration of firmware, software, or tuning parameters (including VESC Tool settings)

5. Customer Responsibility for Repairs
Customers are solely responsible for facilitating any repair, replacement, or reconfiguration of their unit. This includes but is not limited to sourcing replacement parts, performing rework, and verifying correct operation following any repair. Fungineers LLC may, at its discretion, provide guidance or technical support in connection with a repair — via email at support@fungineers.us or through our Discord support line at @fungineerssupport — but such support does not transfer responsibility or liability to Fungineers LLC for the outcome of any customer-performed repair.

Fungineers LLC shall not be held liable for any damage to persons, property, or third-party equipment arising from a customer-performed repair, modification, or installation, whether or not technical guidance was provided by Fungineers LLC.

6. Exceptions & Case-by-Case Service
In limited and specific circumstances, Fungineers LLC may agree to perform hands-on service or inspection of a product. Any such agreement must be made explicitly in writing by an authorized representative of Fungineers LLC — via email at support@fungineers.us or confirmed through our Discord support line at @fungineerssupport — prior to any product being shipped to us. Fungineers LLC reserves the right to decline any service request at its sole discretion. Shipping costs associated with sending a unit for inspection or service are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fungineers LLC's total liability arising out of or in connection with any warranty claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product in question. Fungineers LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of use, or lost profits arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use any product purchased through this Site.

8. Governing Law
This Warranty & Repair Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE, consistent with the Governing Law provisions set forth in our Terms & Conditions.

9. Policy Updates
Fungineers LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty & Repair Policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.
