The Legacy of the X7 Long Range
The X7 Long Range was developed for you folks with range anxiety. While the standard X7 could do 25 miles range, which is awesome for a board that is in the form factor of the original XR, we thought how we could push the envelope and do the impossible. It took 2 long years, first we developed a controller box that could house a powerful controller (Thor301), AND have enough space to house another small battery pack in front, AND also have a full size handle; next, making sure the Battery packs are safely built, securely housed, and most importantly, have a reliable, smart BMS that can monitor the cells on the go, and provide critical safety feedback while charging, riding, or otherwise. The current BMS just didn't cut it, so we spent a year and worked with Benjamin Vedder (the V in VESC) and team to develop the first and official VESC BMS for single-wheeled PEVs. After testing and shipping in small batches to early adopters, YOU can now finally be part of the legacy. A board that can do it all. XR feel, GTS+ Power, 40 miles range!, VESC BMS for safety. Be it World Speed records with the Superflux, or Thors being run with the best riders in the US and European Onewheel League races. Therefore, we know our products are extremely reliable and robust, and we stand by our products. Users will have a 1 year repair or replace warranty for the Superflux, The Thor VESC, and the Battery! (except in cases of user error).
In addition, you have the right-to-repair, upgrade and complete support from our team to modify in the future. We mean it when we say, the board is YOURS.

Love the X7LR board. Researched Onewheels for 3 years before buying and glad I went with Fungineers. Support is excellent on Discord.
The waiting after order is the hardest part, but it arrived earlier than expected and was worth the wait! Packaging and product were in excellent condition. After a download of the VESC Tool app I did some verification of settings. I put on my helmet, pad, and gloves and took it for a ride. The ride was great out of the box. I was riding with confidence at over 25 mph. I have since gone about 12 miles on paved road and mild off-road conditions. It's quiet and strong up hills, handling everything I've thrown at it so far. I am very happy with the purchase and look forward to many miles of floating on my X7LR. Thank you Fungineers!
Just rode all day on this board and it is awesome. It is so quiet and smooth, and you can easily hit 25mph just cruising around casually. So far I love it, and now I regret that I bought a GT XL at the same time. X7 LR is the best board I have ridden thus far hands down. Thank you Fungineers!
I had an XR for such a long time but wanted to transition to VESC. I took my time, rode some of my friends boards including GT, GTS but this is EXACTLY what I needed.
The board rides amazing out of the box, like an XR but has a 35 miles range, speed that I can’t even max out (30mph and beyond).
I rode it on the beach and with 12 miles I was still at 75% battery.
It looks amazing, rides amazing, is very silent.
I couldn’t ask for more and I’m completely stoked.
Just be patient once you order. Mine took 37 days to arrive in California.

This is THE board.
This board is insane. Plain and simple. It is more power than one could need, and even in the winter weather were I am the range is amazing (25+ miles @ < 40°F)! Also the charger is crazy fast! I went from nearly dead to full in just over an hour! The Thunder tire is actually a pretty good tire, I don't feel the need to replace it immediately (as long as you air it down out of the box). This board has everything I could have ever wanted!
Now with that being said, two minor things where a little discouraging. Firstly, two months to ship. Not great, but well worth the wait and they were upfront about it so I am not going to fault them! Secondly, when I recived the board I tried to plug it in to test the charger and it didn't work. Fungineers took about 2 hours to respond which is actually incredible in my opinion, but I had already solved it before they got back to me. (Join the Discord! That is what helped me.) Turns out the BMS needed a firmware update. This is expected when you have a VESC, but "out of the box" is a tad of a reach with that one.
Final thoughts, I freaking love this thing!! It is incrediblly capable! Plus it looks so good! If you have the patience to tune and own a VESC this has to be your go to pick! (And no this review is not biased at all, I just love this thing!)
