Thor301 for GT to VESC conversion
Couldn't load pickup availability
Upgraded Thor301 VESC with an adapter plate and 3X M3 bolts to drop into the GT box and secure.
Please buy the Footpad connectors, and the Superflux Motor/ FM Hypercore connector separately.
Important warranty information
Using other manufacturers' LEDs could potentially damage the Thor301 due to wrong connections and/ or too much current being pulled from the 12V buck.
If you are using any other LEDs, first please power on the Thor without connecting the LEDs, run the motor and functions to ensure the Thor is not Dead on arrival. Then, proceed to connect non-Fungineers LEDs at your own risk. DIY is tricky business, and if damaged after connecting non-Fungineers LEDs, we cannot cover such scenarios under warranty.
If using Fungineers LEDs, Thor and LEDs are covered under warranty of 1 year as we made sure no mis-connection can happen :)

The kit went in fairly easy for having no instructions except the YouTube watch, and no previous VESC or controller mod experience.
There was no tool in the toolbox for the BMS cover though. I had one in my RC toolkit luckily.
Need better customer support than “figure it out online” for something that costs over $500. It would be nice to have a small manual for install and basic VESC functions like lights etc. If I didn’t need the rails leveled I think it would have been plug and play.
I also installed TFL steep and deeps and had to reprogram the IMU to level them. I used floathub and it disabled the float package. To fix it I had to use VESC Tool, under Float CFG (or Refloat CFG) -> Specs, toggle off "Disable Float Package" and tap Write at the bottom.
The IMU re-leveling was done in floathub. My wheel rides very smooth and silent now, and I avoided paying FM over 500 and instead went VESC and can diagnose and repair it myself in the future. Thanks Fungineers for this fix option.
The kit is easy to install, improves handling and performance. The only problem I have is the lights, sometimes they light up a different color than the one that is set, and also not all the LEDs always light up at the same time
Everything works well. It’s DIY, but also not, had to be creative. Worth it.
